Node.js Agent Developer

Location: Kfar Saba

We are looking for an experienced Node.js agent developer, who shares our obsession with software quality, to join our R&D team. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Sealights’ Node.js Agent.
• Participate in all product lifecycle stages, from design to development, including testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with our Customer Success team to take your code into production.
• Take ownership of existing code and add features and capabilities as we go.
• Automate everything you can.
• Use our service to achieve true continuous delivery.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software development.
• At least 2 years hands-on experience with JavaScript (preferably Node.js).
• Deep understanding of the language runtime, multithreading, and parallel processing.
• Strong software design skills (OOP, SOLID) – a must.
• Experience with TDD and Agile principles – a must.
• Strong debugging skills – a must.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript build tools, test frameworks, parsers, and transpilers – significant advantage.
• Previous experience in Instrumentation, Compilers – an advantage.
• Previous experience in writing IDE plugins, productivity tools – an advantage.
• Experience with other programming languages such as Ruby, Python, C#, C++ – an advantage.
